On July 9th, 2024, the Union Veterans Council (UVC) made history by leading a large-scale delegation of union veteran workers to the White House.

Today the Union Veterans Council (UVC), AFL-CIO, announced the launch of UVC’s Labor 2018 support program. There has never been a more vital time for working class veterans and families to make our voices heard in the halls of power.

First Union Veterans Chapter in Pennsylvania will advocate for local veterans.

The National Union Veterans Council (UVC), AFL-CIO today announced the formation of the first local chapter of the UVC in Pennsylvania at the Allegheny Central Labor Council. This local Union Veterans Chapter will act as a support organization for union veterans in its service area.

The Union Veterans Council opposes a bill that would weaken financial protections for veterans and servicemembers and their right to defend themselves in the court of law.
